Momo Walken....it's a-MaZing!!

1st Birthday with Daddy!

I had another birthday party this week because Daddy wanted to throw me a party, too. He made Mommy pick this dress for me to match his VINTAGE Star Trek T-shirt. Here I thought Star Wars Fans and Star Trek Fans hated each other, but I digress...

I had my very first Hello Kitty Birthday Cake (that I wasn't allowed to eat again)!!!

I had to demonstrate my newly acquired ability to movie producers and directors....

'Twas tiring, but I don't mind getting closer to my favorite Auntie Mary.

I don't mind being held by a Jedi Master either....wait, he's waving his hand and mumbling something to me .... Yes, I do not mind being held by the Jedi Master and his lovely wife....

Pretty in Pink with Mommy.... I'm way prettier than Molly Ringwald, don't ya think?

Oh Daddy, must you hold me like that?! I look like I don't have a neck just like Jabba the Hut. But I fogive you only because you threw me a wonderful party and because Mommy told me to.

Thank you everyone for coming!

Happy 1st B-day!

Mommy told me I was born on my grandpa's birthday because 22nd in America was really 23rd in Japan, so I guess I share the same birthday as my grandpa Yuji. I had my first birthday party on 23rd of April with my friends and their moms.

There were, like 10 moms that us kids had to entertain by playing....

Hide and Seek.....

Who-Can-Crawl-Faster....hey, not fair, one of us is standing!

rock the cradle...or a pink crib....

Oh, and I guess moms needed to make milk with these... Grilled Salmon, Potato Salad, Green Beans, and Osekihan (Red Bean rice)....

Ginormous pudding and.....

My birthday cake which I wasn't allowed to eat coz it was too much sugar in it or something . Apparently, moms had to process it somehow for us to be able to consume this red and white delight.

After much protesting that I needed a cake on my own birthday, mommy gave me this tasty little cake made of steamed pancakes, yogurt and baby snacks! Hurray!!

But what in the world is this flickering light? It was so pretty and I wanted to touch it but my mom didn't let me. So why was it even on my cake? Huh? What am I supposed to do with this?

I guess we can't entertain them enough.....

ONE YEAR AGO..........

I can't believe it's already been a year. Look at me in this picture when I was just a baby. I've been through soo much since then.
I rememeber being in the NICU (Neo-natal Intensive Care) for a week. Yikes! It was just a precaution to make sure I didn't have an infection. Mommy and Daddy were really worried the first few days. They are still getting over it. But I'm fine now!

See, here I am at the park, taking a sip of my water. I got thirsty sitting. Thank God Mommy had a handy beverage near by.
I love water. It covers 3/4 of the earth and tastes great.....without fluoride and other harmful contaminants.
Here's my rockstar look. That sun sure can get bright.
Gotta be prepared on family outings.

ONE SHORT DAY

Here I am at Amandine (a Japanese owned French bakery) with Auntie Angela. She's Mommy's cousin and is a beautiful college girl. She goes to the University of Arizona and is in town for a day. This is the first time we've met and we got along perfectly.
We went to the 3rd Street Promenade to hang out for a few hours. Auntie Angela is so cool and can sing and dance very well just like Kristen and Idina (Glinda/Galinda and Elphaba). She sang me some tunes from my favorite musical Wicked coz she knows all about the musicals. She's also a great example for good looking girls everywhere.

JELLYBEANS from UNCLE NATE

This is a book written by my Uncle Nate Evans. He dedicated the book to me and named the main character "Emily" (that's my middle name) after me. It's my favorite book and I always go looking for it when Mommy isn't looking and read it.
You can get your copy by clicking
Here's the page where Uncle Nate dedicated the book to me.
It's the most amazing thing I have ever seen.

Here I am about to open the box that Uncle Nate shipped the books in. I know it's for me and I can't wait to see it.

Of course Mommy has to help me and Daddy is always there taking pictures and slowing everything down.

After getting the bubble wrap out of the way, I'm on to the goods.

I thought this was the book at first and was like, "Huh, what's going on here?"

Then I saw the book for the first time and couldn't wait to bite it....and then read it.

Here I'm telling Mommy the story line since I read it before her and wantd to give her a summary of the events. I LOVE MY BOOK!!!!! Thank you UNCLE NATE!!!!!!
